We continued east on hwy 50 and crossed the Rockies for the last time on this trip at Monarch Pass, 11,312 feet. While there we took a gondola to the actual summit at 12,000 feet, but alas the camera battery died while taking photos. From here we was chased down to Saliada and on into the prairie by theathening showers.
