We left Sheridan and after a few minutes on the I40 branched onto route alt 14. This wonderful road led up and over the Big Horn Mountains. We literally went from 40 degrees celcius down in the plains to 15 degrees celcius and piles of snow from last winter. The picture of Bev and the snow is taken at the highest point on the road at a little over 9000 ft. Both the road up and down are really fun rolling switchbacks that aren't too tight and very little traffic. The second picture shows the road curling around the mountain. The valley between the BH mts and the Rockies around Yellowstone are virtually a greenless desert. We drove through this desert and stopped at a campground in Cody, Wyoming,
