After a hot day riding across western Arkansas and eastern Kansas we arrived at our friend Joe's place. Originally we had planned on touring Colorado and New Mexico with Joe but unfortunately Joe had some health issues and was not able to join us. Instead, Joe made us feel right at home and we had a rest day in Wichita. In the afternoon we went to see the film Inception at a new Warren theatre in Wichita's Old Town. After we got our tickets they gave us a full dinner menu that included a decent wine list and a good selection of beers. They told us to take the menu to our seat in the theatre and to press the red button at our seat to order. The seating inside the theatre was similar to our new stadium seating cineplexes but the space between the rows of seats was much wider than normal. We checked out the menu while the trailers were playing and then pressed the red button. A server arrived within a few moments to take our orders. Bev ordered a salad and Dave a beer. A little while later the server returned with Bev's salad and Dave's beer plus trays that attached to the seats. This was "Dinner and a movie" all inside the Theatre.
